Basically, after 20 minutes of screen time, try looking at anything 20 feet away from you for a total of 20 seconds. So that your eyes are distracted from the screen.

It’s a good idea to drink some water upon waking while resting your eyes and muscles to keep yourself hydrated. If your body is well hydrated, your eyes will be equally hydrated.

Keep a real distance from the screen

Most people find that looking down is more comfortable while using the computer.

The distance between the eyes and the computer screen should be 20 to 28 inches or 15 to 20 degrees below eye level.

Blink your eyes frequently

Although it is a fact that blinking is an involuntary act. However, it happens at times that constantly looking at the screen can interfere with this process and you forget to blink. Eyelids keep our eyes moist and hydrated.

Eat fresh fruits and vegetables

Certain foods help improve eyesight, such as fresh fruits and vegetables.

Studies have shown that increasing your intake of fruits and vegetables can improve your general health and help prevent eye problems.

Eating foods rich in vitamins and minerals will help keep your eyes healthy. These nutrients are referred to as antioxidants. Our cells and tissues benefit from antioxidant protection.

Eggs, kale, carrots, spinach, turnip greens, collard greens, romaine lettuce, broccoli, zucchini, corn, guava, grapefruit, oranges, peas, and Brussels sprouts are some common fruits and vegetables that help improve vision.
